Just read this at BoingBoing: A high-school student writes zombie story for english class. About an unnamed high-school being run over by zombies.

Well, he is now imprisoned, facing a "second-degree felony terrorist threatening charge". Why? According to the coppers, "Anytime you make any threat or possess matter involving a school or function it's a felony in the state of Kentucky".

My stupidometer just pegged so hard that it dented the stops. That's nothing new when reading news from over there. But upon reading the news article some other details begin to stand out: apparently his grandparents found the story in his journal and turned it in to the coppers.

My faschometer is now fluttering wildly; a true nation of rats they have become. Can you say "Blockwart"? I can.

Next move: Bill Watterson is summarily executed for this calvin and hobbes cartoon. (I feel with Bil^Wcalvin here; I'd have loved to bomb all the schools I went to and massacre about 99% of my "fellow" students and 75% of the teachers.)
