i love blosxom's static rendering mode, my hardware is ancient and slow. the available plugins are quite borken, though: in the last 36hrs i've submitted about 4 bug reports and rewritten two modules from scratch (think positive: that is possible at all).

static_file doesn't work with static rendering, rewritten. breadcrumbs starts at the wrong time and looks in the wrong places, rewritten. seemore doesn't like static rendering much, the output template points to the cgi script.

run it under mod_perl? won't work easily, lots of small lousy differences.

followsymlinks, exclude, interpolate_conditional, archives and categorytree needed help, too.
